Fried Long Bean

*Good fry and flavor. Not at all spicy. Perfect on its own, but better with rice.*
Braised Pork in Brown Sauce 88RMB
*Damn sheok! Fat = Flavor but with the sweet sauce exterior, pairs very well with a hot bowl of rice.*
Fried Prawn with Hot Pepper 78RMB

*Nothing really special. A simple fry and not that hot or peppery either.*
Sweet and Sour Mandarin Fish (Braise/teamed/Sweet and Sour) 128RMB
*A little disappointing to be honest. I was looking forward to fried sweet and sour fish, but the fish here has a relatively strong mud/fresh water fish taste. The sauce itself lacks ingredients like minced meat and other vegetables. Bellagio located nearer to Mellinium Hong Qiao does their fish much better. (Click here for Full review)*
Boiled Bacon & Tofu Skin and Bamboo shoot and Lettuce Soup 58RMB
*Pretty good soup. The flavors are somewhat similar to that of pigs spare parts soup. I felt there was a little bit of an overdoes of Tofu skin, but all in all, a nice soup that goes nicely with the meal.*
1 Peking Duck 108RMB
*The star and the very reason why the return. At only 108Rmb, its probably one of the most value Peiking ducks had thus far! More detailed review as done below. One can ask for more 'skins wraps'.
Total Fed 5 RMB547
The consensus was, Duck was super worth it, and for this round of orders, the pork and long beans were the clear winners. The soup wasn't too bad but the rest as mentioned were a miss. So all-in-all not all hits but really depends on what you order. The duck still did not fail to disappoint.

Beijing Pieces of Duck Skin ¥58/half

*The duck came with super crispy skin with a welcoming, thin layer of fat underneath. The meat was succulent and very juicy. Maximum flavor with minimum tough meat cuts at a very respectable price. Their accompanying sweet dipping sauce wasn't too salty and paired perfectly with the Peking duck and it condiments. If I had to nit pick, we probably ran out of Peking duck wraps before the remaining duck slices. I would definitely return for  great duck and value prices!  C&G(Cheap and Good Wouldn't Cut it.
More like C&BG. Cheap and bloody good!.*

Kung Pao Shrimp ¥78

*Despite the sprinkling of dried chill in the dish, it wasn't all that hot and would even go at lengths to call it a kid friendly dish. The dish itself was a tad on the salty side but its balanced well, when taken with rice.*
Grandmother Pork ¥58

*The pork taste much better than it looks. It could be because we were the last patrons of the night, or the poor lighting, but the braised pork was really good. A sweet braising liquid which paired well with the fatty pork. Seasoned traveler and compatriot commented that the pork could have been even more tender. Definitely not
for the health conscious but taste soooo good.*
Short Bean and Clay - Pot Dish

*Whatever their braising liquid, it goes very well over a hot bowl of rice. The garlic cloves were a little under, but being a garlic fan I didn't mind at all.*

x3 bowls of rice
x2 Coca Cola

Pot of Chrysanthemum tea
Overfed Fed 2 Total ¥281

A cozy, rustic dining setting which allows smoking indoors. We started dining at about 2100hrs+ and finished at about 2220hrs. The place was still open. Amy's restaurant is a very short walk from Pearl City's shopping center and a recommended return to location, for the value-for-money and quality Peking duck. The rest of the dishes, with the exception of the slightly salty prawns, were really up to par and worth every penny. Alfresco dining is available as well.
